Cardi B is officially in album mode.
After signalling the alarm with the ‘Like What’ freestyle, the femcee unleashed ‘Enough (Miami)’ this week – much to the excitement of her legion of loyal fans.
Now, it looks like they’re set to be rewarded with Cardi’s long-awaited sophomore album.
Six years have passed since the release of her multi-Platinum debut, ‘Invasion of Privacy,’ and now the rapper is promising that the wait is almost over.

In a new sit down interview with Speedy Morman on Complex‘s 360 with Morman, Cardi said of her hotly anticipated LP:
“My next announcement is gonna be my album. It’s not gonna be no more singles, no more freestyles. No more nothing.”
Continuing, she said:
“We already have aeverything planned out. I’m telling you, the next announcement will be the album. [The announcement] is very soon. I’m nervous, but I’m ready.”

The weak performance of the recent two songs will have her scrambling and she’ll push back the album, we all know how this goes by now
The 2 tracks Cardi released so far are good but not good enough. Not catchy enough. Just sound like strong formulic album songs.
I think ppl sleeping on BONGOS (which was 🔥) after already sleeping on Hot Shyte (which was just OKay) decreased cardi’s self esteem as a hit maker.
